Craig “KR” Costello
Meet the man behind the marker, Craig Costello. Raised in 1980s Queens, Costello was at the forefront of counterculture, surrounded by writers, skaters, and artists. He wrote with whatever he could get his hands on—if he didn’t like the color of the paint or the size of the nib, he’d dissect the marker and modify it himself. This DIY mentality eventually morphed into the paint powerhouse known as Krink today.
