Harry’s x Munya Chawawa
Deep Issue Massage
Tackling deep issues and deep tissues
Harry’s is partnering with master of comedy Munya Chawawa to produce ‘Deep Issue Massage’, a five-part series that celebrates the ‘ups’ and dissects the ‘downs’ of prominent male figures - putting a spotlight on the irritations, annoyances, and anxieties - that even the most successful and prolific men experience. Watch Jordan Stephens of Rizzle Kicks, rapper Kojey Radical, kickboxer Michael Page, former France and Manchester United footballer Patrice Evra and TikTok star Victor Kunda talk about their emotions whilst receiving a massage.

Mental health and Harry’s

Supporting men's mental health is at the heart of what we do. Mental health is an issue that disproportionately impacts men, in part due to the outdated expectations around what it means to be a “man”. In the past few years, we’ve given over $10million globally to organisations that provide mental health support to men.

We currently partner with 14 charities worldwide, including Shout, BLAM and Albert Kennedy Trust in the UK.

Understanding the mental health crisis

Since we launched in 2017, we have worked with UCL and mental health experts to conduct research to gain a better understanding of how men feel. This year, we have run a new masculinity report to discover the prevailing attitudes and beliefs of 2000 British men on masculinity.

This research revealed that:
  • 1 in 3 men think it is very important to seek out humour in everyday life to feel happy
  • 1 in 3 men think it is very important to have a grooming routine to feel happy
  • 1 in 3 men think it is very important to chat with co-workers at work to feel happy
  • 45% of men think it is very important to bring fun to friendships to feel happy
  • 1 in 2 men think it is very important to bring laughter to romantic relationships to feel happy
  • 50% of men think that physical health is very important to feel happy
  • 54% of men think mental health is very important to feel happy.
