How does your Trial work?

When you sign up for Shave Plan shipments, we'll start you off with a Trial Set for just $8.
Our Trial Set contains a Truman handle, one blade, a 2oz Shave Gel and a Travel Blade Cover. You get about 2 weeks to make sure your products are working well for you.
After that trial, we'll send you the first of your Shave Plan shipments. Those shipments will continue at a pace that works best for your shaving needs. Our Blades-Only Shave Plan costs $15 and most folks choose an interval 2, 3 or 5 months. You're in complete control of your Plan and can modify or cancel it at any time!

How do I modify my Shave Plan?

You can modify your Shave Plan shipments by going to your Profile Page. You're able to add or remove products, change the next Send Date of your shipment, or adjust how often your Shave Plan ships. Just click on the section you'd like to modify and take it from there.

How long will it take my order to arrive?

It can take about 5-8 business days, and you can always track it by visiting your Harry’s Profile Page, or using the Shipping Confirmation email that we send as soon as your order ships.
We partner with the USPS and other major parcel carriers to get your shaving products to you quickly. No matter how you ship, you'll receive a tracking number in your inbox as soon as your package goes out.
One and two day expedited shipments aren’t an option for orders that contain Shave Gel (due to the fact that it comes in an aerosol can).
While we work hard to ensure that everyone gets their order on time, friends in Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. Territories may see shipments of up to 4 weeks.

Can't login or forgot password?

First, since you've already created an account with us, be sure to click the link that says Already have an account? Sign In then click on the "Forgot Password?" link below.
Once you've clicked "Forgot Password?" simply type in your email address and hit submit, and we'll send a password reset email to your inbox. Make sure you use the email address you've been receiving Harry's emails with.
It should only take a couple minutes for the password reset email to arrive in your inbox. You don't need to do the "Forgot password?" process more than once, or you'll receive multiple emails. If this happens, just use the most recent email we've sent, otherwise you won't be able to successfully reset your password.
Once you receive a password reset email you'll have 24 hours before it expires to open it up, click on the link inside, and create a new password.

What's the difference between a Truman and a Winston?

The main difference between the Truman and the Winston is the material they’re made from.

What's the difference between a Truman and a Winston?

The main difference between the Truman and the Winston is the material they’re made from.
Just to clear up any confusion: they both use the same blade and provide the same great shave!

Our blades feature a Precision Trimmer on the top of the cartridge for detailed shaving of hard to reach places. It’s great for trimming your sideburns and the spot under your nose.

How often should I change my blades?

We estimate our blades should last about 6-8 shaves, though it certainly depends on the type of hair you have and your blade-care habits.

Can women shave with Harry's?

Since Harry’s launched in 2013, we’ve wanted to create products with thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship, made specifically for women. After years of research and thousands of conversations with women about their routines, we’re excited to introduce you to Flamingo, a full line of body care and hair removal products for your armpits, happy trails, toes, and every hair in between.

Where are your products made?

Our blades are made in our own factory in Germany! Our steel is from Sweden, our handles were designed in New York and are assembled in Hong Kong. Our Shave Cream, Shave Gel and Post Shave Balm are all made on the east coast. It gives us great pride to create our products and we're glad to have found so many great partners that help us.

Do your blades contain nickel?

Yes, the steel used in our blades contains a trace amount of nickel, between 0.10% and 0.15%.

Do I have to use both your razor and your gel or cream?

Nope, use whatever products are right for you! Our razors, Shave Gel, and Shave Cream were made to work as great, stand-alone products, whether or not you use them together. That said, it never hurts to put great tires on a fast car.

Are your blades and handles compatible with other brands?

Our blades are designed to only fit with our handles, and vice versa. They complement each other really well and are designed for control and precision.

How many blades are in your cartridges?

Each cartridge contains 5 evenly spaced, German crafted razor blades.

What's the best way to use your Shave Cream or Gel?

It’s best to start by taking a nice, long shower before shaving -- or at least rinsing your face with warm water. This helps to hydrate your whiskers and soften them up before you get to shaving.
Once the prep is done, apply a thin layer of our moisturizing shave cream or foaming shave gel. The amount needed will vary based on how much stubble you have. Let the cream or gel sit on your face for two minutes, pick up your Harry's razor, and get to shaving.

Do you test any of your products on animals?

We do not test our products on animals, and that will never change.

What's the difference between your Foaming Shave Gel and Shave Cream?

The choice between Shave Gel and Shave Cream is one of preference.
Our Shave Gel dispenses as a dense gel and quickly turns to foam as you massage it, providing cushion and comfort during your shave. Our Shave Cream applies thinly and has a lotion like texture, allowing for a smooth glide and close shave. Both products not only protect your face during the shave but moisturize as well.

Have questions about ingredients?

We care deeply about the quality of our products. There are no parabens or sulfates in our formulas and all products are both gluten-free and vegan. If you need a full ingredient list, please reach out to us and we'll send it your way.

Can I use Harry's to shave my head?

Our razors are designed to shave your face, not your head. We’re working on developing products for head shaving but in the meantime, we recommend that you only use Harry’s blades for the purpose they were designed for: to shave your face.

The nozzle on my Foaming Shave Gel isn't working. What do I do?

If your Foaming Shave Gel is acting stubborn, here's a trick that might work:
  • Hold the Shave Gel in your dominant hand
  • Place your thumb right underneath the ridges of the nozzle (where you would normally press down to release the shave gel)
  • Push the nozzle forward using your thumb. At that moment, you should hear a “pop” letting you know that the safety seal has been broken.
Shave to your heart's content!

How do I remove the blades from the plastic blade box?

Hold the blade box in one hand so that the green side is on the top and the clear plastic is on the bottom. Position the box so that the Mammoth is right-side up and Harrys.com is on the side closer to you. 
With your other hand, push the protruding lip on the side facing you, up and away from you. The box should open with relative ease.
Insert the handle into the blade cartridge, and pull back gently to remove the blade from the box. Shave away!

How do I remove the blade cartridge from my handle?

Hold the handle with one hand, with the Harry’s logo facing you (blade should be facing down). With that same hand, grip the pusher (plastic connector piece at the top of the handle) at its base with your thumb and forefinger on each side of the 2 lines. Slide the pusher away from the handle. The blade should pop off with ease!

How do I change or cancel my order?

We try to ship orders as quick as possible, which means we might not catch your order in time to adjust or cancel it. If you're on a Shave Plan, you can change the timing of your shipments on your Profile page.

What is your return policy?

We love the products we’ve made, and we think you will too. If, after 5-8 shaves, you find that you're unhappy for any reason, just let us know so that we can help you return your products within 30 days of receipt for a full refund.
Keep in mind, it does take some time to adjust to a new shave system. Changing up the angle and pressure should help you find the right approach to giving you a great shave with our razor.

Can I send a gift from Harry's to my friends?

While we don't offer gift-able Shave Plan subscriptions, you can always send anything from the Products page as a gift. You’ll even have the choice of including a special message!

Do you offer free shipping?

Nope! If you’d rather order as-needed, you can do that through the Products page of our website. However, our Trial is only available when you sign up for a Shave Plan subscription.

PAYMENT QUESTIONS

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. And we rarely turn down homemade cookies. However, we do not accept PayPal or prepaid cards at this time.

I see 'Stripe' on my bank statement—what’s that?

Stripe is one of our payment partners. In some cases, you might see 'Stripe' (or a variation of Stripe) on your credit card statement within the first 24 hours of placing your order. Within a day, Harry's should appear on your statement in its place. If you have any questions or concerns about this, just reach out and we’ll be happy to help.

How do I use my coupon code?

You’ll need to first add the item that the code is valid for, to your cart, along with any other items you want to purchase. Then, proceed through checkout and click the “Apply Coupon Code” link on the Shipping Address screen.
Some codes may instead ask you to visit harrys.com/redeem and enter your code. Once you do so, you should see those items that the code is valid for pop up into your cart—please note that the order total will be $0.00.
Your coupon code is good to go for 90 days (unless otherwise noted) after it was first generated.

There is a $1 charge on my bank statement—what’s that about?

Don’t worry, that $1 is only a holding charge. As soon as your order ships out, you will be charged for the exact total of your order, and that $1 will drop off your statement. It's just your bank talking to our bank saying 'Yup, this is a valid account.’

Can I purchase Harry's products at retail locations?

Yes! Our products are available in Target and Walmart both in stores and online. We also sell at J. Crew. We are not available at every location, so we recommend contacting your local stores to make sure they carry our products.

Where is your factory?

Our factory is located in Eisfeld, Germany, which is between Munich and Frankfurt. You can read more about it on our Factory Page.

MOBILE APP

Do you have a Mobile App?

We do and it's great! Our iOS App provides a super convenient option for ordering and reordering shave supplies. Download and install the app on your mobile device in order to easily browse through our products and place orders using existing account information. The app is currently optimized for iOS 9.0 and up.

How do I remove something from my cart in the app?

If you're on the Checkout screen, tap the back arrow in the top left-hand corner of your screen. Once you're on the Cart screen you can tap the minus sign under any product to decrease the number of items.
If you'd like to remove an item from your cart, swipe left on that item and tap the 'Delete' button that appears to the right.

I'm checking out in the app, how do I apply my Coupon Code?

You can apply your coupon code on the 'Checkout' screen under your order summary. Just tap the 'Add' button on the right side of the screen and enter your code. Our coupon codes are not case sensitive. Most of our coupon codes will only work if you're using it on your first order. If you're a returning customer, feel free to pass your code along to a friend who may want to try us out for the first time—we would really appreciate it!
