How does your Trial work?

We start you off with an $8 Trial Set, which should last about 2 weeks. This gives you time to see if Harry’s is right for you. The Set includes: a Truman Handle, one blade, a 2oz Shave Gel, and a Travel Blade Cover.
After that trial, we'll automatically send the first of your Shave Plan shipments, which will continue at the frequency you select. You're in complete control of your Plan and can modify or cancel it at any time!

How do I modify my Shave Plan?

You can modify your Shave Plan shipments by going to your Profile Page.
You're able to add or remove products, update your address and payment information, as well as change the next send date or interval of your shipments. Just click on the section you'd like to modify and take it from there.

How do I cancel my Shave Plan Shipments?

We hate to see you go, but if you must...
You can cancel your Shave Plan on Your Details page of your Profile by clicking "Cancel Plan" on the bottom-left of the screen.
If you prefer, you can also modify your Shave Plan by going to your Profile Page. Or order, as needed on harrys.com/products.

How long will it take my order to arrive?

This depends on the shipping option you choose!
You can check your order details/status on the 'Order History' page of your Profile Page.
Economy Shipping: can take 5-8 business days to arrive.
Ground Shipping: can take 3-5 business days to arrive.
Expedited Shipping: can take 1-2 business days to arrive. (this option won’t be available for any order containing Shave Gel, due to shipping restrictions on aerosol).
If you’re located in Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. Territories, shipments may take up to 4 weeks to arrive.

Can't login or forgot password?

Click Forgot Password, type in the email address used to place your Harry’s orders, and click the ‘submit email’ button. Only click ‘submit email’ once, and make sure to check your spam folder!
You’ll receive a password reset email within the next few minutes.

What's the difference between a Truman and a Winston?

The Truman is designed with a rubberized matte handle and weighted core for maximum grip and control, weighing in at 1.39 ounces.
The Winston is die-cast zinc with a polished chrome finish and strategically placed rubberized grips, weighing in at 1.32 ounces.
Both handles use the same blade, and offer the same great shave.
In other words, the decision all comes down to your personal preference. To help you out, some people find they like the confident grip of the Truman in the shower, while others find the sleeker, more minimalist design of the Winston to their taste.

Where do you ship?

We ship to the United States, Canada and the UK.
We ship to US Military APO, FPO & DPO addresses, The Shave Cream is recommended as the alternative to the Shave Gel (which is pressurized and often returned to sender with these addresses).
We also ship to Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, and Saipan. Shipping to these areas, as well as Hawaii and Alaska, tends to take a bit longer.
We hope to ship to more countries soon!

How often should I change my blades?

The lifespan of our blades will vary based on your hair type, shave schedule, and blade care habits.
On average most folks like to replace their blades once every 6-8 shaves, or simply once they become dull.

Do you offer free shipping?

What's the difference between a Truman and a Winston?

The Truman is designed with a rubberized matte handle and weighted core for maximum grip and control, weighing in at 1.39 ounces.

Do your blades have a trimmer blade on the back?

Yes, our blades feature a Precision Trimmer on the top of the cartridge for detailed shaving of hard to reach places. It’s great for trimming your sideburns and the spot under your nose.
To use it, simply turn the razor around so that the 5 blades are facing away from you, and bring the trimmer (which is a single blade on top of the cartridge) up to your hair. Try out some different angles during your first few shaves to find which one works best for you.

Where are your products made?

Our blades are engineered and manufactured in Germany using Swedish steel; our handles are made in China; and our face, body, and hair care products are formulated in labs in the US and UK.
Every Harry’s item is uniquely designed and produced, but we hope you’ll love them all equally.

Do I have to use both your razor and your gel or cream?

Nope, use whatever products are right for you!
Our razors, Shave Gel, and Shave Cream were made to work as great, stand-alone products, whether or not you use them together. That said, it never hurts to put great tires on a fast car.

Are your blades and handles compatible with other brands?

Nope! Our blades are designed to only fit with our handles, and vice versa.

How many blades are in your cartridges?

There are 5 evenly spaced razor blades, in one cartridge.

What's the best way to use your Shave Cream or Gel?

It’s best to start by taking a nice, long shower before shaving -- or at least rinsing your face with warm water. This helps to hydrate and soften your hair follicles, before shaving.
Once the prep is done, apply a thin layer of our shave cream or shave gel. The amount needed will vary based on how much stubble you have. Let the cream or gel sit on your face for a minute or two to further soften your hair, and then get to shaving.

Do you test any of your products on animals?

Nope, and there are no plans to change that.

What's the difference between your Shave Gel and Shave Cream?

Shave Gel dispenses as a dense gel and quickly turns to foam as you massage it, providing cushion and comfort during your shave.
Key ingredients include; milk thistle, bergamot oil, cucumber and aloe.
Shave Cream applies thinly and has a lotion like texture, allowing for a smooth glide and close shave.
Key ingredients include; marula & coconut oils, tulsi leaf, cucumber, milk thistle, fruit and licorice root extract, vitamin E acetate * pro-vitamin B5, peppermint, and eucalyptus.
Both products not only protect your face during the shave but moisturize as well.

Can I use Harry's to shave my head?

Our razors are designed to shave your face, not your head. We recommend that you only use them to shave your face.

How do I change or cancel my order?

We try to ship orders as quickly as possible, which means we might not catch your order in time to adjust or cancel it. If you just placed an order, give us a call at 888-212-6855.
If you're on a Shave Plan, you can cancel or change the timing of your shipments on your Profile page.

What is your return policy?

If our products aren’t right for you, let us know. We can help you return your products within 30 days of the purchase date for a full refund.

Can I send a gift from Harry's to my friends?

While we don't offer gift-able Shave Plan subscriptions, you can always send anything from the Products page as a gift. You’ll even have the choice of including a special message!

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and various digital wallet services. And we rarely turn down homemade cookies. However, we do not accept PayPal or prepaid cards at this time.

How do I use my coupon/promo code?

Place the product(s) in your cart. Click 'checkout' and follow the steps. On the last step (Order Summary Page), you will see a box titled 'coupon code' on the lower right side of the screen. Enter your code here, and click 'apply'. You can place your order!
Some deals may ask you to visit a specific website link. Just follow the link!
Most of our coupon codes will only work if you’re using it on your first order. If you’re a returning customer, feel free to pass your code along to a friend who may want to try us out for the first time—we would really appreciate it!
Your coupon code is good to go for 90 days (unless otherwise noted).

There is a $1 charge on my bank statement—what’s that about?

That $1 is a holding charge. It's just your bank talking to our bank saying 'Yup, this is a valid account.’ That $1 will drop off your statement.

Where can I get a Harry’s Gift Card?

You will be able to purchase our Gift Cards in the US at Apple Campus Stores, Best Buy, Target, BJ's, Speedway, the Marine Corps Exchange and the Coast Guard Exchange. We always suggest calling in advance to confirm stock.

Add your gift card to your Harry’s account here: Harrys.com/giftcard, and it will be automatically applied to your next order, including Shave Plan shipments.

How do I use my Gift Card?

You can head to Harrys.com/giftcard to apply your gift card to your Harry’s account to be used on future purchases, or, you can enter it in checkout under Payment Methods.
You can find your code on the back of the card above the barcode.

I’m having problems with my Gift Card.

What do I get with my Core membership?

Current benefits include up to 10% off on harrys.com purchases, and free engraving on our engravable products (Winston handle and Harry’s Razor Stands.)

When can I start using my Core benefits?

As soon as you sign up! You’ll even get 10% off the first order when you purchase your membership.

Does the discount apply to retail locations?

The Core membership discount only applies to orders placed on harrys.com where we offer every product you can get in retail, plus many more!

Can I combine my Core membership discount with other discounts?

Not at this time, but you’ll get at least 10% off every order for harrys.com purchases placed on harrys.com while an active member.

When will I be charged the Core membership fee?

The annual core membership fee is charged in full when you first sign up and is non-refundable.

Will my Core membership automatically renew? Will you remind me when it does?

Yes, your membership will auto-renew on the anniversary of your subscription date each year. We’ll send a reminder email 30 days before your membership is set to renew so you can cancel if needed.

Will the amount of the membership fee ever change?

The membership fee is subject to change, however we will notify you before the membership renews.

How can I cancel my Core membership?

You can cancel your membership by contacting us (either by phone or email) or through your account page, in which case your membership and the associated benefits will be effective until your current subscription ends. The annual membership fee is non-refundable.

What other terms and conditions apply to the Core membership program?

Our website’s Terms of Service, including the section entitled “Auto-Renewals and Recurring Billing for Shave Plans and Other Subscription Services”, apply to the Core membership program. Is Harry’s available in stores?

Yes! Most of our products are available in Target and Walmart both in stores and online. We are available in-store only at Smiths, Fred Meyer, QFC, Meijer, Wegmans and Hy-Vee stores. We also sell at participating J. Crew, Urban Outfitters, and Barneys locations. We recommend contacting your local store to make sure your product is in stock.

Where is your factory?

Our factory is located in Eisfeld, Germany, which is between Munich and Frankfurt. You can read more about it on our Factory Page.
